The Eighth Doctor Adventures: Ravenous 2

A definite improvement with the filler stories at least being personal this time, or rather story.

A bunch of stories that feed into each other, building tension towards the excellent haunted house inspired finale!

For the first time in a while Liv and Helen feel almost refreshed and redefined in their roles after the previous finale.

The Eleven, a once repetitive albeit fun villain, has a larger role in the background of this long game of a plot.

Sure the plot is probably going to be another universe ending scheme but this time it feels dark and gritty for the first time since the Eighth Doctor Adventures.

The big bad being the boogeymen for Time Lords, their Pennywise if you will, adds a new cog into this show’s dynamic. The Doctor actually seen the Eleven as a reasonable companion thanks to their combined fear of the Ravenous is a wonderful idea and had me excited to see where this tale goes!

Even the somewhat standalone two parter that was clearly made to leave breadcrumbs for the future episodes was excellently crafted to get us asking more and more questions with myself excited for the answers.
